Mr Laxmi Dass relected as a Chairman of the Bank in the election held  on 13/02/2022.Before electing to the post of Chairman of the Bank in 2011 he was the Vice Chairman of the bank from 2005 to 2011. He has been  associated with the Bank for the past 24 years  as a shareholder. Mr Laxmi Dass was born  on 10.09.1947  in village Ujhe ,PO Bathu Tippri , District Kangra, Himachal Pardesh and holds a post graduate degree in Political Science from H. P. University .Besides  being a good orator he is a widely travelled person with rich and varied  country wide experience and exposure in various fields including Khadi and Village Industries and is an active patron of social movement in the country.  He has held many top and important positions  at all India level organizations of Govt.
